Supporting Friends

As I had mentioned in a post not too long ago, I have a dear friend online, Ms. Smurf.  She has recently gotten some great news about her health, but is still needing our prayers.  A group of us who treasure her friendship decided to do something to show her that we love her and want to support her in this journey she is facing.  One member of our little group mentioned doing a 1,000 crane project.  Before we knew it, many of us were volunteering to be a part of this.  Not for recognition, but merely to be able to show this amazing woman that we love her and want to be here for her.  This is a small sampling of what she will be receiving soon:

All of the cranes in this project were made using scrapbook paper.  She is an avid scrapbooker, and has even made sure that her journey through these health challenges are documented.  That is a true hero in my eyes.  To be able to tell others about the bad.  It is easy to share the happy memories, all the laughter shared.  It is truly an artist who can share the hard times, all the tears.  They are just as much a part of your story as the happy times, possibly more.  The hard times are what give us strength, and teach us to appreciate the happy times.

Because everyone has a story to tell..happy or sad, silly or painful.  Tell it all
